fiance complained that i havent been updating the blog so he doesnt have anything interesting to read? now seriously, are my updates really that interesting to begin with??
blame it all on twitter. im mostly active in there. its sucha no-brainer. all u gotta do is just u noe, update! and i do it on a daily basis. errr actually more frequent than that. whenever i have things on my mind which needs a little bit of expression, i tweet. when im bored, i tweet. that is why my phone bills came up to over $100+ (it reached the $200+ mark once.. sheesh).
so yeah was reading some blogs earlier and i decided to do post one myself. a lengthy update for once, cos twitter have a maximum of 140 characters per tweet. wic sucks, of course.
wedding preparations. i can go on and on about it. its neverending! once we thought we cud finally relax, there are other things which crops up. one after another. when we're done with this, oh there's that to be completed too! takes up a lot of time & energy. and of course, money. sighs. no kidding when mama said u have to have at least (AT LEAST!) $20k to have a proper wedding. but of course, do browse around for cheaper alternatives as well. be smart!
now.. Alhamdulillah. i got a pay adjustment. $100 increment. plus im getting a bonus this month too, cos all these while i've been working at the polyclinic, they actually underpaid me by $50 per month! and i've been working there for almost 3 years! haha. lady boss was kinda mad at payroll for overlooking the issue. but im cool with it. at least im gonna get the money back. ALHAMDULILLAH!
lastly, i cant wait for the big day. i know yeah, i talk about it all the time. my friends were like,"ahh ok lah kau nak kawin lah yelah yelah". haha kidding! actually, i think most of my friends were kind of excited about my wedding cos most of my friends are getting married this year too! ARHHHHH! like seriously, i have invitations for like every month! ok none this month. but next month! and then june, i have mine & wartini's, whose wedding will be a week before mine. doubt i can go though. mama's all,"pantang pantang! jgn keluar2!!!" sigh.
and the months after that. pleaseeee i dont even wanna talk about it. haha! i wish all the future brides, regardless of whether i know u personally or not, enjoy the moment! cherish the preparation period. then only will u feel relieved & happy on ur wedding day. remember the hard work, the sleepless nights, the amount of money spent & saved. remember the overtimes, remember the surveying, the trips to and fro singapore expo for bridal exhibitions. remember rememberrrrr!
