WE'RE ENGAGED!!
i know.. i hadnt had time to update. hehe. been so busy with the preparations, and then the post engagement cleanup. penat babe. felt like updating a few days back but then sleep came to mind so it was delayed. sowie! but now here i am! :)
our engagement was a huge success!! the biggest thank you goes out to EVERYONE involved; those who came and those who dont, those who helped and those who watched, everyone lah!
to my family - thanks for accepting him as part of our family. thanks so much for making sure that the event will run smoothly. though there were some minor glitches along the way (kotak tissue tak cukup, pipe at void deck rosak etc), things were back to normal in just minutes thanks to the lot of you! thanks for contributing to the gubahans too. asal aku pusing jer, ader jer barang2 yg baru dibawa. kekeke. so best lah korangs!
to my friends - thanks so much for being there to share my happiness. and to those who couldnt make it, thanks so much for the well wishes via sms. awww that is so awfully sweet of you people to make time out of ur sunday to come celebrate with me. really appreciate it loads. some of them i havent seen in years, yet still came. argghh! power to the people lah! =)
to his family - thanks so much for accepting me as part of your family. thanks for doing up the gubahans so perfectly (most credits goes to bik lala - hehehe). i heard there were some last minute touch ups to the gubahans cos people kept contributing, and i trust that you people wanna make it the best you could. there were so many of you at my place, hahah! some i didnt even recognize, but you still came! awww.. and those who were stuck at abg's place, even 3G-ed to see me via nasir's phone. *melts* and that mysterious nenek who kissed my forehead (i found out later that it was cik salim's sister), that was so unexpected. but sweet lah! to nad and the miang cousins, you people are the craziest!! belom start doa selamat korg dah barge into my room & take pictures. hahaha! giler tau! but i love you all lah. =)
lastly, to my bf-turned-fiance. thanks a whole bunch for being my most wonderful partner. you've made me happy in a million ways, but i was the happiest when you said we should get engaged. awww.. you little busuk you. i sincerely hope that we'll make it past 2009, and into a whole new world in 2010, when we will be legalised. insya Allah. (nenek already asked us to go kursus rumah tangga you know - lets go!) oh yah, thanks for the expensive 0.38 carat ring. berapa ribu? kekeke. koyakz kocekz. bluekz!
i hope i didnt leave anyone out. heehee.
gosh! the end of the day came so fast. boohoo. tau2 da bes. and all guests dah balek. uweekkk! and by about 5pm, i was out of my baju yg cantik and into my baju yg tk berape cantik. back to maid mode. clean up, wash up, savour the goodies. kekeke. believe me, up till now, most of the sweets and chocolates are still lying on the table waiting to be savoured. dont think we can finish it all dalam masa terdekat ni. kekeke. will pass them around at work lah. weeEEeee!!
yesterday both abg and i ran around the country. first was to melawat arwah nenek sedara ku at holland close, who passed away on monday at about 10 plus at night. and then we went to breakfast with cik lin, wak nani, mama, and the kids at west coast. back to my place, i forced abg to watch ayat2 cinta. at the same time viewing our engagement pix over & over again. kekeke. and then abg start his lenguh2, so we made a move to tampines to send my baju. back to his plc to pick up bik lala's dulangs to her place, and then back to his house. mamam jap, tgk tv (friends! i love!) and then to abg azmi's place to send my dulangs. chatted for awhile, and then back home. break record, reach my plc at 9 plus. kekeke.
dunno wats in store for us today. realli in lovey dovey mood, baru tunang katakan. abg made some crude jokes. "kalau org tanyer whether abg got gf, i can say dun haf. cos i got tunang already!" less sour (kurang asam) kan. grrrr...
pix are up on our multiply, as usual. when i logged onto multiply and facebook, was so shocked to see my pix on 5 of my friends' pages. kekeke. siang2 korang dah upload. aku yg tunang korang yg excited. hehehe. so best! now's waiting for my official photos from the professional. weeEEeee!
