i dont care, i wanna complain!!!
just few days ago, i was reading thru forums when i stumbled upon a thread on halal dining in singapore. apparently, someone is a "p-plate" muslim (just convert lah), so she wanna noe of halal places to eat.. i browsed through the thread and someone recommended mad jacks cafe at jalan kayu.. TING!! so i seret abang to jalan kayu yesterday night after his C&C (bukan command & conquer eh)..
we reached jalan kayu, was parking the car when it starts to drizzle.. a little bit at first, still okay.. but the moment we tried to get out of the car, the rain starts to drop a little bit more heavily as if on cue. hahaha! both abang and i was laughing all the way. we stayed around for awhile and then it drizzled. another intention to go out of the car and it rained heavily again! mcm tau lah ni hujan.. hahaha..
"kiter nak gi sini jelah!" abang said to the rain.. bluek!! =)
the place was kinda presentable.. and a little less noisy than the other stalls along jalan kayu.. not so many patrons inside - check! a few minutes later, and we finally know why..
..the place suck horribly!
5% service charge for nothing, firstly.. bcos we must write down our orders and then proceed to the counter to make payments and even collect our own drinks.. the staffs only escort us to our seats and then send our food.. ??!! 5% service charge for wat??
im not trying to be calculative or anything like that but if you have to charge us for service, GIVE us service. i didnt see ANY form of good service yesterday night, however.. GRRRR
that's not all..
i wish i neednt say much about the food. but my dears, again, one thumb down. huge disappointment..
to start the meal, i ordered mushroom soup.. but it turned out to be chicken and corn soup instead. i know, chicken and corn. what the hell right? bad combi seyy.. tasted weird and terribly bland. abang tried to sprinkle some pepper over it but it still doesnt kill the blandness.. anyway, the i-ordered-mushroom-soup-but-they-gave-chicken-and-corn-soup-instead issue is not their fault. bcos i didnt see the little note that says only one of the three soups are available each day. i tak notice lerr.. so nevermind. but still can improve your soup recipe kan?? my goodness.. campbell soup nicer seyy..
next.. my fish & chips. tak sedap, langsong. like western food at kedai kopi one seyy.. not nice. dont wanna complain too much cos its olreadi in my tummy. tak baik buruk2 kan makanan.. anyway, abang's black pepper chicken rice also not nice. no-no.
overall, memang can become mad lah eat at mad jacks.. i dont think im ever going to step my foot in there again.. serik sey. ishk..
okaylah.. wanna watch friends now. i finally noe where i can watch all episodes in the many seasons of friends.. weeEEeeee..
