First things first, I would like to update all of you with some eye-candies for you to drool over (wth??) from the previous 2days 1 night trip with D's family to Changi Beach (or is it park?) I know I'm a little late in posting an entry on that outing but hey, better late than never right? So perhaps now, I shall stop blabbering & continue with the loadful of pictures, much to your reading pleasure. So let the pictures take charge of my blog from now onwards for all you visual kinesthetics. Heehee!
Setting up the tents & laying out the eateries for everyone's comfort & pleasure. Indulge!
Hmm.. I was searching for D high & low.. Guess where he was?
Ouhhhh.. Relaxing huh? Get up & do some work, you lazy bum!
That's more like it.. D tying the canvas..
Then he was off like a bullet to...
Yes.. Play beach soccer with the cousins..
Good good.. Leaving me some quality time to..
"Peep" at this cutie princess here having the time of her life in her own pool..
But but but.. It wasn't easy initially to coax her into splashing herself in that pool. Take a look at this..
Told you it wasn't easy. She was scared stiff of the water!
But hey.. She enjoyed herself after awhile. Many thanks to her
dayang-dayang...
..who sticked faithfully around to cater to her needs & to try in every way possible to make her happy. She even start splashing the water around like nobody's business! As evidence, see this..
See???
When the night befalls, with nothing better to do, we did what we think we should do.. Camwhoring!
D & I then strolled along the beach, felt so at ease and yea.. romantic. *blush*
Late night, out with some of the peeps to watch soccer at a coffeeshop. D & I couldn't stand the second half of the game & proceed back to our tents, with Nad & Saiful (is this the correct spelling? forgive the errors if not!) following suit. However tired the both of us were, we still managed to take another snap.
See our faces? It spelled L-E-T-H-A-R-G-I-C across our foreheads.
Ho ho ho!
And I would like to share something really ticklish..
Poor D.. I didn't know you were that comfortable! Heehee!
It wasn't comfortable for me, at all though. I slept in a tent full of sand, I itch & scratch myself silly like a crazy monkey. But I still managed to pass the night..
And woke up to a fun-filled day!
8am & I was awake.. Had breakfast then its off to the awaiting-with-open-arms sea! Yeay! Played games, water captain's ball eg and my team lost! Not fair! But anyway, it was really fun. I enjoyed myself tremendously. Thanks to my accomplices.. Love you girls.
Back on land, and more games awaited. I participated in all of the games, and it was cool! Played "soccer" & get sabotaged with flour; dog-and-bone, which I honestly DO NOT know how to play; and more! But my favourite game would be the Mummy Wrap.
Wrapped Bik Lala up, with the help of D's Mama..
So very fun!
Well.. All's well that ends well. The trip went on fine for me.. Chuck aside the awkward-ness! Thanks to the little ones for making me feel right at home that I almost forgot I am part of the Basri family. Heehee!
Deduction?
I would love to be in more of these family outings again in the future.. Cool!
